Manual You do this yourself, step by step, every time. It runs because you remember to do it. Using ChatGPT or another AI tool to help you think or draft still counts as Manual — the system depends on your initiative each cycle.

AI-assisted Defined workflows run without your constant involvement. AI actively participates at set points: drafting, filtering, scoring, or generating. You manage exceptions and approve outputs, but you are not initiating every instance.
